Well folks, I would like to announce that the Camelot Trials Club based around Clarksville, TN will be hosting a full round of events for the 05 calendar year. We have been steadily developing our support base over the last several years and looks like we are ready for this next big step.
By working with other clubs near us, we will have a 12 event schedule that will be within 3 hours drive of Clarksville, TN. Tentatively the rounds would be as follows, (Not in any order) Clarksville, TN 2 day STRA / TI sanctioned event, our premeir event and our "work" Event. TTC spring Ride 2 day event. STRA Sanctioned TTC 58K 2 day event. STRA Sanctioned Elizabethtown / Radcliffe KY 2 day event. TI sanctioned Dickson TN Fun event at Bob Ginders place. MITA event at the Little Egypt Offroad Motorcycle Area, MO. Falling water or other CTC fun event in the Chattanooga area. Clarksville, TN fun event at the Redman estate. Probably Potluck trials. We will recognize and track year end standings for the following classes. Novice Intermediate Sportsman Advanced Expert Pro I recognize that some of the classes may not be competed but I believe that all the clubs should come to a consensus on class names to aid in promoting inter club competitions. We will cater to the Youth Classes as riders express an interest. The scoring rules of the sanctioning body will be followed when competing in that event. The rules for Camelot organized events will follow the basic NATC rules of scoring with time limits given at the observors discretion. The NATC championship points system will be utilized for maintaining year end scoring totals. The points will be assigned to the Camelot finishers according to their finishing position at that event. Camelot members will be expected to work or organize an event in support of the series. We have some great things in store for the Clarksville 2 day event that we will try and make into one of the premier events in trials. Contact me with any questions or post here so that others may see them as well. Best Regards Alan Bechard Clarksville,TN 931-551-8129 Home 931-801-7921 Cell, weekends and evening please. trialsalan at wildblue.net |

Well, the first step in having the 05 Border war has been made, it is now on the Trials Incorporated Calendar for April 30 and May 1.
Unfortunately that overlaps with the FTA event held that same weekend, but it seems to be the best compromise available at present. The E-Town event is also set on the TI calendar as the weekend prior to the 58K for the STRA, so while those will be back to back weekends, it should be grand for folks in the Clarksville Area. Will try and hold a meeting sometime in Jan to get together and have a good time and work out any details that may come up. Thanks to the STRA and Ron Milam for allowing us this space to communicate. Hope to see everyone at Newnan! Alan Bechard Clarksville,TN 931-551-8129 Home 931-801-7921 Cell, weekends and evening please. trialsalan at wildblue.net |
