I have stock exhaust systems for a 1972 Honda XL250 Motosport and a 1982 XL500R. Both are in very good shape - were installed/used on the original bikes for less than a year and in storage since.

A friend bought a new 1972 XL250 and installed an aftermarket exhaust shortly after getting the bike. The stock original pipe was put on a shelf in my dad's shop in NC where it has been sitting ever since. I'll be up there next weekend and can pull the pipe down and examine it. Maybe take a picture. I'll get back with a report after the 14th.

Also have an XL75 - starts easy and runs fine - nothing special cosmetically - any interest in that bike?

I have the 250 exhaust at the house now. No dents, scratches or dings. Everything is straight and complete - has 2 mounting brackets attached and heat shield has "250 Motosport" logo. Light surface oxidation from hanging in a shop for 38 years. Some clean up and a new coat of paint and it would look perfect for any restoration or use as-is for a daily driver.
I'll try and get a photo up this weekend.
