Greetings All,
I just wanted to let you know that I had a conversation with Dan Brown over the weekend and the historic first ever Enduro Trial is well under way. Arriving on October 16 & 17, this exciting sport is a perfect way for trials riders to showcase their talent, and at the same time, scratch that itch to go fast that lurks in the back of many a trials rider's psyche. If you have not heard of the Enduro Trial, or want more details, check out the website dedicated to the sport Enduro Trials Link

As you know, the STRA did not host a national this year. The Enduro Trial is our opportunity to support the sport at the national level. At last year's NATC meeting, several other clubs offered to host an Enduro Trial round as well, but in the end, it was decided that the TTC would promote the inagural round and establish the format as well as work out the bugs.

Now that the date is looming large, we need to once again ask for volunteers to step up and support our sport and our club. The TTC will make a monetary split with the STRA similar to what is done with national trials rounds. This year, the STRA can really use the boost.

We need about 20 workers for each day. Since a large number of STRA members will want to compete, you have the option to compete on Saturday with your trials bike, or on Sunday with your offroad bike. Most of the required workers will man checkpoints or observe in the trials sections. If you are able to help out, please let me know as soon as possible by replying to this email, or by sending me a private message.

I'll work at least one day, with Sunday being the best day to put me down. Since Darrell is working both, I'll see if he will loan me his trials bike to hammer through woods on Saturday. I'll try and bring a couple of additional workers and let you know what the total help I can supply for the weekend is and if I'm available for Saturday as we get closer to the date.

Thanks Guys. Please spread the word to your friends. We stil need a lot more help. Since this event has more simplified scoring, it would be easy for even non-riders to check.
