Hey Brian, Thanks for checking on me,I've just come off a self imposed 3 1/2 month break to rehab an old ankle injury, so I wasn't on top form. I rode the TY at the Gainsville AHRMA event also, and met up with Bob and Jean Baker, the folks that sponsored me last may when I rode the pre 65 Scottish, fine people.Bob rode Bob Ginders James at G'ville, then I brought John D ty for him to ride at the FTA event, sort of a hands across the sea's Bob is use to r/h shift and l/h brake so it took a bit to get use to for him. All in all we had a great time riding together for three day's. The Bakers are still in Fla on holliday for another week. Thanks to Barry and the FTA crew for putting on another fine 2 day event, also thank's to Bob Ginder for the use of the James and for setting up the G-ville event and dealing with the AHRMA staff and congrats to Bob for winning modern classic expert last year, (but not getting the year end traveling Mick Andrews award that goes with it)Thanks for dinner too! So Brian, thats probably more than you asked for,but I was on a roll. Mark. BTW it appears that I'll be going back to England and Scotland to ride the pre 65 again in 07.

Scottland again, you lucky dog! Take your Barbour Suit and Dunlop Wellies. Supposed to rain.

Seems like I heard you hurt your ankle at Gadsden,
I broke a couple of ribs there on Sunday.

Hey Brian, Broken ribs remind you everytime you take a breath, don't they. Getting to Scotland is easy, getting an entry is the hard part, they only start 180 riders but usually over 400 apply, helps if your a name, past winner or a foreign rider, being a yank helps, you speak somewhat the same language. Still working on my on bike dvd of the event, seems production requires a new piece of equipment for each step, I'am progressing slowly. Mark.

Mark,

That is great news about your chance to go back for the pre-65. very cool.

I was wondering who that fellow was on Ginder's James at Gainesville. ( who by the way won the premier lght class I think)

i thought that the trial in Gainesville was A+ and fun. Wish I could have done the FTA event too.

Are both Leriche bros back in the US for the year?

JF
