Congratulations President Randy! Since you asked, one thing I've been wondering about is why aren't our events listed in AMA Magazine? I figure there must be a reason why we haven't been doing it, but I can't imagine why. The AMA Magazine would be an excellent tool for letting other people know about trials that already have in interest in motorcycling and probably already have an AMA license too. Also, there are probably several motorcycle related web sites that will list our events for free if we just send in the info. Bottom line, I think we could do a better job letting the motorcycling community know about our events. Usually when someone comes up with ideas like these they are automatically nominated to take care of it, so, I'll be glad to help make it happen.

1+ on your new appointment Randy. There is a motorcycle centric website http://advrider.com/forums/ that covers all aspects of motorcycling including a Trials section ( http://advrider.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=73 ) and regional sections http://advrider.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=63 (Southeast) I am registered on that site also I can easily update the various forums with STRA information if you think it will help the club. I have posted pics from TTC events in the past and they are well received by Trialers nationwide and worldwide that can't believe how lucky we are to have such a venue in our backyard.

Randy,
From what I can tell by reading on the AMA web site, all we have to do is send in the sanction form at least 90 days prior to the event and it will automatically go in the magazine and on the AMA web site. We've probably already missed the boat for the first two weekend events; but, we should be able to get the rest of them in on time. Who sends in the sanction form--STRA secretary or each event organizer? Also, so we don't miss out again next year, we'll probably have to sort out the schedule for the first two events before the annual meeting to get those sanction forms in on time.
