We had a great service at round 2, 26 attended.
Had we known the trial would be so tough, we could have spent more time in prayer! I hope to have some time at the big event this month... stay tuned for more details, I have not heard from Dan yet... ...I Corinthians 1:18 NKJV |

Jeff, You are welcome to organize something Sunday AM, note that 1st rider is out at 9AM and observers need to be in place by then. Perhaps a 7:30 or 7:45 service would allow a brief observer roundup at 8AM. The primary observer meeting will be Friday evening. dan |

There ya have it! Listen for the horn at 7:30 am, central, Sunday morning at the big trial of all trials (unless Jesus comes for His followers before then , in which case someone else will have to fill in for me).

We had a great sevice at the World Round Sunday morning, although not too well attended... there were 14 souls.
The thing I would like to share with y'all is what happened Saturday afternoon, that the hand of God, and Satan's demons were having an epic battle going on in section 15 right before the eyes of hundreds of mere mortals, including the world class riders. The fall, and the rolling rock were the work of demons. The bible tells us that "we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against powers and principalities". The hand of the God of Abraham WON that battle! Praise Him! Read Linda's post, I choose to call it a testimony, under Many Thanks in Discussions. People, that was all for your benefit! Please learn from it. Death is chasing us all, from the second we draw our first breath. No one knows what's around the bend, or up the hill coming at you full speed. This I promise you though, you are going to die, perhaps at a World Trials Competition. Be ready to face God, please be assured of your salvation. Don't know how? I will share that with you if you will contact me. And hey, watch that rock! Also, is what you are standing on firm? It's all up to you. Be blessed! Have a great holiday weekend. ...I Corinthians 1:18 NKJV |

John has us scheduled for 8:00 am Sunday morning, instead of the usual 8:30 service time. Listen for the horn @ 8;00 Sunday morning.
Hope to see y'all then! ...I Corinthians 1:18 NKJV |

No need to change... I really don't think the 30 minutes will make a major difference.
I am pleased that some of the promoters are adding the service to their flyers. I know it pleases God as well! ...I Corinthians 1:18 NKJV |

I do not think a religion get together should impact a trials. I say start the trials as planned. Services should be planned around a trials

Alright then, Rick. Thank you for your input. I really don't think you understand my point though. I moved the service back a half hour. This change should not affect the start time of the trial whatsoever. You seemed to have changed your opinion since the March 23rd post if I read it right? ...I Corinthians 1:18 NKJV |

We had 15 again attend the Cornelia Trials for Christ service.
See y'all at the 58K next month. Since all the cabins and RV spots are booked, we should have our usual highest turnout of the year at the TTC Sunday morning. Remember - central time! Be blessed... ...I Corinthians 1:18 NKJV |

Hi Rick,
What's up with you? Your lucky to live in a country that allows you to CHOOSE your religon. If you don't want to join in, don't. Many of us do join in and are very thankful for Jeff as our pastor away from our home church. We have only ever changed service times based on the trial, not the other way around. If you've got something against freedom of religion or freedom in general move to a socialist country. I'm guessing your whole point is to stir people up and most have been very Christ like in ignoring you and your posts. Are you a lawyer for the ACLU? Did you take off work for Christmas? Didn't your parents give you toys on Christmas? You never had an easter egg hunt? It's not too late! |

We had a nice service Sunday morning at the Trials Training Center. The weather was already warming when the service started, with 16 attending when we began. By the time we wrapped up, Ian counted 24.
We will gather again at the next event in Gadsden, Alabama November 4th and 5th. Another item of interest to STRA members... the Hattiesburg event has been canceled, and instead we will have a benefit 2-day trial at the T.T.C. December 9th and 10th, with proceeds going to the year end awards. Dan and his crew will set the sections, and so the membership will have a chance to get in a work day that weekend. You heard it here first! This message has been edited. Last edited by: Jeff Geisen, ...I Corinthians 1:18 NKJV |

I'm slacking a little on my reports. I will attemt to catch up now...
At our Gadsden event the morning service was greeted with awesome weather, as was the entire weekend. The leaves were most impressive with vivid colors too. We had a group for the service that numbered 25. Also in attendance was an honest-to goodness preacher. He said a great opening prayer, and his words of encouragement did much for my spirtual self, thank you Anthony! I mostly thank my Savior for allowing this ministry, and for using me. Pray for our Trials for Christ family, and for others to join us. See y'all in Tennessee! ...I Corinthians 1:18 NKJV |

It has been quite a year, and the more birthdays I have, the faster the years fly by. I am pleased with hitting the 10,000 view mark on this thread... awesome!
The Geisens will not be at the final two rounds this weekend due to family obligations. This will be the fist trial we have missed all season. I would like for a volunteer to gather the TFC faithful on Sunday morning. I wish y'all a great and happy Christmas, and that you are able to gather around friends and family for the day. Remember too, that Christmas is a birhtday, and proudly wish one another Merry Christmas, as opposed to Happy Holidays. Try this... before you and your loved ones rip into Christmas gifts, be it Christmas eve or Christmas day, take a little time and lead your group in a prayer to thank God for His gift to us, His Son, and our Savior. I believe He is the perfect gift. This time of year especially, try to be extra kind to someone... help them out, try to make a difference, be a blessin' to someone. Make a sacrifice on His behalf, He made a big one for us! ...I Corinthians 1:18 NKJV |

Jeff,
Anthony Shore and I would be glad to lead the service. Service will be at 8:30 on Sunday. I will bring my bull horn and gather everyone by the tree just up from the practice area.(Where we had it last time. |
