We want the April 14 and 15 weekend for Cornelia. We have done the event in the Fall for a long time and it would be much easier in the Spring due to less growth and cooler tempetures during preparation. Also, vacations for some of us have to happen in Summer due to school age kids which can cut into prep time. If it rains, which it will sooner or later no matter when we do it, we will work from the yard at the house next to the driveway. Let us know if we can confirm this date becouse I have to get permission from the owner which I want to do asap. Thanks, Jamie.

Jamie makes good points here. Plus Cornelia in the Spring would be very beautiful, much like the TTC in the Spring. Fall at Cornelia has been increidibly dusty in some past years with a fine, mica-based fog hanging in the air for minutes after a bike goes by. We are also in a La Nina weather pattern for the foreseeable future, which dictates warmer, drier weather overall, so it might not be too wet for a Spring event at Cornelia.

Okay Jamie-
You have April 14/15. We will leave the ridge in sept as originally planned. I only brought up switching because that is what I thought you wanted.

No mistake on your part. We have done the event in Fall for many years. If the Ridge is in the Fall it will give them a break. Gary, Vaughn, Jim Craig and I are planning to lay it out and I hope we can get a good turnout. I will contact the land owner and unless you hear from me we will plan for April 14and15. Thanks for letting me know and being president of the club.
