The sections are all laid out and have all been tested by top level riders who confirm their ridability. Nothing to hard and plenty of fun stuff to ride so I hope everyone will be there. I have just received info on this, Rusty Shackleford, that may ride our Cornelia event. My sources report, he is American born, but his family moved to the Ukraine where Rusty was educated and trained in the art of riding trials. He is in the United States for a short period of time to test on the new Harley-Davidson V-twin trials bike. James Thompson confirms this report. Eairly this week he was able to snap a few pictures of the new H-D bike being tested at TTC, but a Harley PR guy smashed his camera before he could get away. A malay insued, with James receiving a nasty black eye. James reports, the new H-D Trials bike sports the new A.B.R.S. Which is, Air Bag Recovery System, (patent pending). Both sides of the new bike have air bags in what looks like saddle bags. A button on eighter side of the handle bars can be pushed if the bike hits the ground which will bring the bike upright. This is sure to cause problems for the NATC. A rider who knows he is going down could push the A.B.R.S. (patent pending) and not go down. How do you score this? Is it a five, just because a rider used his A.B.R.S. system? We will have to wait for the NATC to answer this one!!
