The Newnan event is proceeding nicely. We have some new sections and of course, the old favorites. We are hoping for dry weather, but I was reminded this week that when the ground is dry at Newnan, it is almost as slippery as when wet. So, rain or shine, this promises to be another fun time.

I will have the flyer posted soon - sorry for the delay. We also need to start recruiting checkers. If you are willing to help by checking one day (or both if you are truly saintly), please let me know.

We are looking forward to a big turn out, so make sure you contact your friends who have been staying home of late, and let them know that if they skip this one, they will be missing a great time!

Ian and I are booked at a Volkswagen show next weekend, I had Tom McNeil as a backup for the Trials for Christ service on Sunday morning.

He let me know this morning he will not be able to attend either, so unless someone volunteeers there will be no leader for the Service Sunday morning...

We're heading back out tomorrow to finish (hopefully) up on the sections. I just checked the 10 day weather forcast and there is no rain all the way through the event weekend. Actually, some rain late in the week would help, but after our last season, I am certainly not complaining.

I had an email from Keith Spudic inquiring about parking space for big campers, etc. Keith, I tried to reply, but you sent some kind of super secure email and since I do not have a digital encryption ID (nor secret decoder ring), I was unable to tell you that there is space.

I will have the gate open Friday afternoon.

Ron, sorry that I am going to miss the event. After not making a good size vertical wall, I was stepping off the moto and my right leg landed straight (instead of slightly bent) and I tore my ACL completely, tore the meniscus in a few places and strained the MCL. Needless to say 2010 is pretty much over for riding...but I shall return!!
