Here is the 2010 edition Trackrock Trials flyer. Track Rock Flyer (for real)

Ron should have it posted on this website as well.

This years sections will be easier but harder, Dryer but still moist and warmer and yet cool. Novice more interesting, Intermeadiate more challenging, Sportsman more technical, Sportsman Advanced all new, Advanced "I feel like I'm in a World Round section"(Gary), Expert worth the drive(Think SNOW RIDE) and Champ testing the ever expanding limits of Ronnie and Karl (we hope).

Frank Alexander is going to have a Barbeque sat evening for participants and their families. FOR FREE to the first 50 after that it will be half portions.

Where is Track Rock? I've never been to it.

Is the Sportsman Advance real or just a joke?

^^^Trackrock is in NE Georgia in the area of Blairsville, a truly beautiful venue.

I dunno, sounds interesting about the new class. I checked the biz meeting report and it was not mentioned there.

I fixed the link, or I should say "It worked on my computer".

When you get to the skydrive, click on the "page". It is a PDF. The map links on there work, ...cause I just tried them.

Unless everyone was screwing with me the Sportsman Advanced class is real. 50% Sportsman lines and 50% of the easier Advanced lines. Should be cool.

Yes, the Advanced Sportsman class is the real deal. It was around a few years ago and is being brought back due to popular demand. As Paul described it, the class is the essentially the hardest half of the Sportsman lines and the easiest half of the Advanced sections (no separate/dedicated class lines). Should draw down a few Advanced riders and draw up some of the Sportsman competitors.
A agree with Jeff - TrackRock is a beautiful place to ride. Just don't wear your new white sneakers to the event.

Gary, you are the new president. Thats what happens when you cant make the meeting. If Double D dose not move up there will be a rash of Gasser vandalism near his truck. He hates scratched plastic. Cant wait to get to trackrock to try out the new bike. That thing can hook up. See you there, Your pal Jamie.

I walked through all of the sections wednesday with frank. He has sections for a wet day and sections for less wet. The loop has no hills this year, and all classes can ride the whole loop. The novice and intermeadiate lines are not just ride throughs. He has opened the fence at the bottom of the parking area so we can pull in at the top and ease back out the bottom lower side.
It looks to be the best event yet.
Don't forget the barn cookout sat eve.

I had a great time at the 'Rock, arrived Saturday afternoon and rode Sunday.

I was amazed at how much rain came out of a 30 percent chance Saturday, the area was a bit muddy but there was a helpful guy on a tractor always ready to gently pull you out to the road.

I was blessed to be at the barn Saturday night and for those that missed it the food provided was as good as I have ever eaten and the atmosphere in the barn could best be described as casual/museum.

The lines I rode were challenging but enjoyable and the people that were recruited to work on the loop were some of the most friendly and involved I can recall.

For me the toughest section was the loop trail between sections 5 and 6.

I had a blast and the weather conditions just added to the experience and is what makes certain trials events and venues even more memorible.

I realize this was the season's first event, but I believe this one is a contender for event of the year already. Mike and Frank are classy promoters and definately sweat the details. Thanks y'all for a great season opening event!
