To all riders headed to Newnan this weekend,

Due to construction on I-85 south of Atlanta that has traffic funneled down to two lanes each way all the way to Newnan and the synergistic effect on traffic that several large happenings will have on traffic in Atlanta this weekend, it is highly recommended that if you must come through the ATL on your way to Windridge, you (a) allow plenty of time to wait out the congestion, (b) use I-285 to circumvent downtown Atlanta, through which I-75 and I-85 pass in a conjoined morass of cars, and (c) get off I-85 south of town if traffic snarls and get on highway 29 and go through Union City, Fairburn, and then Newnan to avoid the delays similar to last year.
