Hi guys,
Sorry I forgot all about Fun in the Sun being the first 2 rounds of the STRA and I'm just now adding the points to the STRA championship points.
Here's a stat that you may find interesting.
I went through all the riders to see how many were STRA riders. Combining both days there were 80 rides, all but 27 were STRA riders rides. That's amost 2/3 of all the entries in the Fun in the Sun. IMHO the Fun in the Sun was successful as a STRA event.

Brian:

I thought all the riders needed to be STRA members to compete in the Fun in the Sun since it was an STRA sanctioned championship trials. Let's follow up on this before considering it a done deal.

I'm glad to hear the Fun in the Sun was considered a success! I hope all those that made the trip enjoyed themselves, the FTA put in a lot of work setting up and running the trial and we were pleased to be included in this years' STRA schedule. I do want it to be clear that ALL riders paid for STRA membership as required by STRA rules. The membership fees and paperwork were collected and sent to STRA in a very timely manner and included Family, Single, and One Day memberships. Please contact me if there are any questions or concerns.
