Is a 2001 TXT 200 enogh bike to pull around a 185 lbs beginner to novice rider? Motor and suspension wise? or should i look for something else bigger? also i am coming from a 1990 Beta zero, how will these 2 bikes compare?

hello, my son went from a 1992 beta zero to a 2000 gg txt200 last year, so far he has ridden about 6 events on the 200 and he really likes it, the power is smooth and doesn't hit as hard as the beta 270. he is 5'10"-5'11" and 180 lbs. just remember to keep the throttle going in some of the rough sections,it don't keep chugging like a 270.....jeff larson
