I am new to trials and am in need of some advice on tires. I recently purchased a 1986 Honda TLR200. The bike currently has motocross style knobbies. I would like to put trials tires on the bike but am on a limited budget. Does anyone have any experience with the IRC TR1 tires. I know the TR11 is supposed to be a great tire, but it is out of my price range. I would be interested in serviceable used tires if anyone has any.

thanks

No problem man
I'll have a useable take off by next week
all you got to do is come get it
I'm in greenville
don't waste your money on the low rent irc's
its very hard and meant to last a liftime
but if you want to ride on the street the tr11 will not last a day

And if you don't want to travel into the big city of Greenville, I've got a takeoff here in Clemson that I could give you. My only problem is that I'm only around Clemson on the weekends as I work out of town. Let me know. Maybe you could join us on a trials ride one day.

Thanks guys for both of the offers. I think I'll take Harry up on his offer since Clemson is only a few minuts down the road from me. It's nice to know that there are friendly trials riders here in the upstate. Either reply here or email me at scooterrednek@aol.com when would be a good time to meet to get the takeoff.
