I noticed there are no listings for Vintage C riders.I rode one round at Carrolton,also one round at Lenoir.I have also done my stint observing two days. Does this count for anything? I see that I did get credit for the ride at Shooting Creek modern.

yes the overall results seem to be a mess.I see several mistakes in the A class. for examplein the first
two events Lee carpenter won the A class .also at the Lenoir city event it shows Steve Glinski winning the A class one day.Steve rode the B line that weekend. also at Bob Ginders first event it shows Bob winning the A line on the 2nd day . bob rode twinshock class I won the A class both days.counting my best 6 rides should be 150 points. These are the mistakes I have seen at 1st glance.I dont know about the B class . I urge you B class riders to take a good look right quick before its to late! |

Just to add more confusion to this discussion I need to comment on the Whooping Creek results Vintage rounds 2 & 3. On the days of the event I believe only Bob Ginder and Lee Carpenter rode the “A” line (with Bob ahead both days). On Saturday I know Steve Glinski rode the “B” line because I rode the first loop with the “Vintage B” group to help scoring. The round 2 and 3 results in the results tab (blue box) on the front page seem to support this somewhat with Bob 1st Twin Shock (ITSA class?), Lee 1st Vintage A (STRA class), and Steve 1st Vintage B (STRA class). This result differs from the 2007 Vintage Results (including all the events). It appears that some type of major discussion or fact-finding mission needs to be conducted before any results become Final.

We definitely want to get this straightened out. There are different versions of vintage results (somehow!?!) that have been submitted. Mark Sturtevant and Rick Welton are sorting through the confusion. If any Vintage riders or promoters have results or work credits from the 2007 STRA events, please reply here. We may need to review those. Thanks for your support and we get this corrected.

To All Vintage Promoters;
Send me all the Results for the 10 vintage rounds and I will repost them. Anyway if you rode any vintage events and did not signup for 2007 STRA Membership, you will not get points for a year end award. Every name on the final Vintage results our 2007 members in the STRA. If you signed up for STRA at one of the events and your name is not listed in the finals, we do not have you as a current member, you will want to talk to the promoter and find out what happen to your paper work. Since I'm the one who forwarded the results mess to Rick Welton, let me clarify a couple things:
Steve Glinski was put in the A class because he is an expert rider. I have no idea what bike he rode, all I see is what he signed up for (keep in mind I don't attend every event...). Just checked with Bob Ginder and he should have been in the twin shock class, not A class. Malcolm Ridgway - I had no results turned in for him, so I couldn't list them. Basically, what this boils down to is I was handed information on who rode what class. Since these events were STRA/ITSA, I was only responsible for ITSA scores for the ones not put on by us. If the info I received had only ITSA members, those are the only ones I had info on. So, I apologize if the the results are a mess. I also plead the 5th because I can only report what I have info on. And, since I've been out of the STRA vintage scene for several years, I really don't know who does what anymore. I haven't had my feathers ruffled yet, I'm just explaining why Rick got bogus info. |

And everyone should keep in mind that this was a transitional year where the STRA events were combined with the ITSA. I believe some competed in one of the 2 series and some competed in both, so there was a lot to keep straight.
If anyone has or sees information they can help with, please jump in and let's get this corrected - the STRA awards banquet is a month away! Thanks in advance! Brock |

The ITSA results are listed here:
http://www.twinshock.org/content.aspx?page_id=22&club_i...2050&module_id=16076 If any competed for only STRA points, they may not be listed. |
