A substantial amount of work and revision went into the sections over the weekend. Bill and Will Ibsen, Dave Hulse, Paul Crowder, John Scales and Rick Welton helped fine-tune each line and provide fresh ideas.

The sections are ready to go with a nice mix of stream and hillside rocks. (Expect to go home with wet boots though!) Don't expect anything scary or a tough event. There should be a number of point-takers, but plenty of cleans in all classes. All the lines were designed with an emphasis on 'fun'!

The sections are rarely tight. If you are a fan of classic-style, straight-ahead lines, this is your event!

Hey Brock,
The weather forecast says the low temperature here this weekend will be around 40 degrees. So, I figure with the elevation gain at the 'creek, it could be in the mid to low 30's up there. Will the landowner allow campfires for those of us staying overnight?

Jeff:

Fires are fine and there is plenty of wood!

When you guys come Friday, can you put your "finishing touch" on the sections by doing some leaf removal? Everthing should be ready for a final inspection.

Brock

OK Brock,
We will bring the old trusty backpack blowers. I hope your concessionaires will be serving breakfast!? We'll see you Friday afternoon.
