Reply here, or give me a call to let me know which day you and yours will be able to help at this year's S.T.R.A. Nationals, at the only full service trials venue in the nation!

Dan may chime in here, as far as any perks besides free admission for course workers. One perk you will have is seeing great trials action right up close and personal. You will be given cheerful instructions the morning before your tour of duty, and of course the best observer lunches on the whole N.A.T.C. schedule!

Go ahead and sign up soon, and make your plans to be at the Trials Training Center the 3rd weekend in June. Help our (your) club hold onto the stellar reputation we have for hosting award winning events, and bow out your chest a little when we receive the best event award of the N.A.T.C. schedule again!

Call me @ 770 386-3605, call or e-mail the Trials Training Center, or right after you read this post, simply click the reply button, and type in your name, and another one or two!

Have a great spring, see y'all at the T.T.C. in April.

Note to all, as I posted on the announcements page we are having a work weekend on March 24/25 for the national. Trying to get a few spots cleaned up before things turn green. Cabins available for workers. Bring bikes & we'll try to ride a bit too.

C'mon! Sign up here for observing a section at the National next month.

According to my list here, we have almost four sections covered...

I know all of you are not entering! Even one day will help. If you are scared, punch loop cards at the end gate, sissy!

... from my experience, working a national is almost like a training day. You will be right in there with the riders, of course, and you will see the line ridden all kinds of different ways. I can't help but learn something from the support riders, and seeing the Champ class riders up close and personal, it's a thrill.

The pressure I remember the first time Ian and I worked a national section was the whistle and stopwatch, timing the riders was foreign to me. Not to worry, the minders are timing them anyway, and barking at them to get out of the section on time, so you just start the clock, and almost never have to deal with an issue of a rider timing out.

Dan will offer instruction for observers, plenty of insight and experience.

Plus, I believe by being assigned a section, you will be fresher at the days end than if you tried to walk around the loop and spectate anyway. Or, work one day, and hike your socks off the next day.

There will be an epic battle going on in the Champ class as well, since the 07 title is definately "up for grabs" more than ever in the past ten years or so.

Give the observing thing a go, and I promise you will have an experience that will be enjoyable!

Remember, we in the S.T.R.A. are still an all volunteer army!

Yes, we'll do both days, Jeff. And despite what Tony Bussing says, you can put us at the same section, LOL.

I'll check both days - just curious, would this fulfill checking duties for the year for STRA events?

Thank you Mike, Karen, Paul & Larry...

The question you ask Larry has been discussed in the past, and no, you will still need to work one club level event to make your points good, and two to get 1st place points thrown in as a bonus.

That being said (typed), that makes your willingness to work the National in June all the more noble!

Thank you all...
