Next weekend is our event in Cornilia and I sure hope everyone is gonna be there. Henry has done some work to the road and it is in great shape. Gary and I have worked very hard to make some good sections. We have had also some help from Dave B., Richard, Harry and Jim Craig and they have created some great sections with all their coriders in mind so it should be interesting. Anyone who wants to check let me know at least the morning of the event. We need a good turnout this year so please plan to be there. Your pal, Jamie.

... is there gasoline available in Cornelia or Gainsville?

If so, we might bring along some empty gas cans, 'cause there is not much available here in north metro Atlanta.

Jeff has a good point. Especially for you out-of-area folks who don't know how hard it is to find an open gas station around Atlanta: if you see an opportunity to get fuel, do it! There were only 2 open stations (out of dozens) I saw in the Kennesaw area this weekend with long lines at every pump. The stations typically run out of fuel within a couple of hours. Don't take chances if you are low and expect to find an open station just down the road.

Things are predicted to improve this week. As of right now I'm seeing about 1/2 the gas stations with gas up here in Oconee county SC. I heard there was gas around the Cornelia area but someone else may have more info.
