Both are 10 minutes west of the trials site on hwy 64 in Hayesville, NC.

As of yesterday, only 2 rooms at the Deerfield, I got one of them. Spoke with the mgr-owner. Nice guy, no problem with my bike in the room. Also he's comming to the event on Saturday.

If needed, there are also a dozen or so hotels in Hiawassee, GA - about 30 minutes (south) from the trials site. There is a Ramada 706-896-5253, Holiday Inn 706-896-8884, Serenity Cove (cabins on the lake that sleep up to 6 - 2 night min) 706-896-1465 and several mom & pop hotels. Also, Blairsville is about the same distance and on your way up 575 from Atlanta with a Best Western 877-574-2464 and others.
