Ian, Church Sunday @ 8:45? Is there anything I should study, or can I help in any way?

Brian;
I did'nt see your post on the board till this morning, because I took off early Friday to the New & Improved T.T.C.
I don't really recommend studying , because I never know what the subject will end up being. Like, for example, last Saturday night. I had a lesson all ready to go for Sunday morning's service, and then around 10:30pm Saturday, just as everyone was slipping off to sleep in our three bed room at the Acuff Inn, (my wife & daughter-in-law, grandsons and nephew joined us Saturday evening) the Holy Spirit changed up my lesson plan. So, I had to go into the study, close the door, turn on the light, lower the seat of course, and get the new lesson ready!
I am grateful for your enthusiasm, and your willingness to help, you are a blessing. I am still on a spiritual high from yesterday... FOURTY people attended the service! What a victory for our Lord.
I will need you to lead the service in Clarksville while we are on vacation. And if you or anyone reading feel led to contribute in any way feel free. This is not my service, it's everyone's.
Be blessed, JEFF

Thanks for the encouragement. The arm is fine, just tender to the touch, I wish I could blame my poor showing on Sunday on that scrape!
I just need some hours on that 290 I bought last Thursday. I had'nt even as much as sat on it till Saturday morning. Will you be able to repair your Gas Gas by the time for Roberta?

I think I'm sitting out Roberta. It's a long haul.
I'll be working on getting it fixed this week. I wish the fender brace was cheaper, I'll just get it welded. Alan will probably help me out with it.

I just calculated it out. The next church service should have 144 people at it, at the present growth rate. Big Grin

B Rob,
I would like for you to lead the service at Clarksville, since we will be away on vacation for that round.
Would you be willing to take on that duty? Roll Eyes

And if the attendance that he predicted does not fall within acceptable values, will he be held personally accountable?????

I think so!

Man Brian, have you laid out a task for yourself!

Jeff, I've been thinking about it. I'll do it and try to make it through. Please let me know if there is something you want covered so I can get to work. I know a boy at Trevecca Nazarene University I may be able to talk into doing it if I get really chicken. I mean, uh, he needs the experiance! Yeah that the ticket!

Alan, your leading the choir! Big Grin

Brian,
Let your conscience be your guide. I'll send the banner & signs up with some of the gang from your area.
Who knows? You may be better'n me at leading the "service". Hey,even Billy Graham had to start somewhere!
Thank you for the help. May God (help) bless you!
