Thanks Brock and Al and others for letting us know where and when we could meet up to ride. This would make a great forum to comunicate the plans for getting together and practicing. Give people choices of places to ride and who's going to show up. If you know you are going to TTC on a certain day, just drop a note on the forum. If you read a note, add to it if you decide to go too. We did something similar on the banquet, and I think that it increased the amount of people that showed. What do you think?
You are not alone with your suggestion. I have had a number of folks express their interest in getting together to go riding. With my situation of having to work around the schedules of 4 sons with soccer games, trailbikes, camping, etc., I typically get to slip off and ride if a 2 hour window opens up at the last minute.
I plan to post the dates I will be at the Shooting Creek site, as that location is not typically open between events. Right now the weekends of March 22 & 23 and April 5 & 6 are set for riding in sections and finishing touches. Everyone is invited to come and ride those weekends.
The bulletin board is the perfect vehicle for everyone to use for planning a day in the woods riding. Let's use it!
I agree with Brian & Brock. We have a great spot here in the N.W. Ga. area, and someone rides most every weekend. If you can't help Brock up at the creek, come on down-over-up and ride with us here in Cartersville. We now have 15 or so groomed sections, nice parking area, excellent loop trail, and we're just minutes off I-75. Just make contact before you arrive, follow a few basic rules, and we will be glad to have you ride here. Reply or give Ian a call @ 404 391-6774 for directions.
