After finishing second to Dougie Lampkin in 2009, Alexz Wigg topped the 2010 Scottish Six Day Trials on his Beta, besting Sherco mounted Michael Brown.
A look back to 1980 revealed Yrjo Vesterinen was the first ever non-Brit to win the SSDT in the 71 year history of this fantastic event. Also noteworthy was the fact that 4 Americans competed that year. Bernie Schreiber lead the event on the opening day and would go on to finish 6th. Lane Leavitt was the second best placing Yank, while past and present STRA members Jack Stites and Scott Jordan both finished with first class awards. |
