I bought the Karcher electric model on sale at HD I think it was. It has worked well for the past couple years for various projects around the house.
I usually just use the little 1/4" spray tip on the hose to do my bikes though. Alan Bechard Clarksville,TN 931-551-8129 Home 931-801-7921 Cell, weekends and evening please. trialsalan at wildblue.net |

I've got one of the Karchers as well (around $90 at Lowes). It's not super powerful, but it works well enough. Made my 10 year old fence look brand new, too.
Be careful where you spray. Everyone knows not to spray chains, brakes and wheel bearings (don't they?), but there are other less obvious places to avoid as well. The first time I power-washed my trials bike the fan didn't work on the next ride until I helped it start with my finger. This could have been disastrous as I didn't notice it not working until coolant is spewing out the overflow. Luckily, no damage was done and WD 40 got it working correctly again. |
