Sam: that is great news to land a new trials venue! Looking at open dates, I would suggest March 15. March 22 is Easter and the tentative date for MS is Apr 5, so you would not want Mar 29 (the weekend before MS).
AMA sanction fee this year was $225 and marking kit about $100. You can return supplies not used. Don't forget another expense is insurance, which was $263 for a 2 day event. Were you planning a two day or one?
I'll give you a call at the shop...

there was scuttlebutt about the dates being changed for this event; since the 2008 schedule isn't yet posted, can someone in charge of this event, confirm the official dates?

Catherine,
The date is march 8th and 9th. One week earlier. The date was changed so the champs would be able to attend.

Paul

this is a link to the entry form.

Frank,
The competing event is the Sooner Cup. With a $5K purse. We're offering beans with green tomatoe pickles and cornbread. So... you can see our dilemma.
We were just hoping for a good champ turnout. I am dissapointed you won't be there! But I hope you have fun in Daytona. I'm gonna try to make the Fun in the Sun, and let aaron ride the GNCC on tuesday.

Paul

Wow! Frank in the time it took me to type this you deleted your post.

What? Do you mean somebody chose to go to Daytona instead of Trackrock? With a forecast of rain mixed with snow and a high of 36 degrees and a wind advisory. I can't believe they would choose Daytona.
