What a Blast!
I woke up saturday morning about 7:30, the parking area was almost vacant! It was pouring and it looked like no one would show. But by 10 the place was hoppin!
The rain stopped sat just in time for the event. with everyone riding a good part of the SORCS harescrambles loop, 4+ miles. Sweet!
I thought I was gonna waste my motor on the greasy long climbs. The one two five does not like to be wide open for that long on 80:1. Sections were good with a couple of impossible corners thrown in for good measure.
Sunday the rain continued on and off all day, mostly on. The greasy hills became slimey, The hill after Charlies section would keep your attention all the way up, just like his section. Hands please from everyone who rode to just make it through that section.
Hats off to charlie and crew for another awesome unforgetable event. In spite of the weather.

And my thoughts are with Ryan Beasley, and pray for a speedy recovery for him. Section one had a nasty downhill that got slicker with every rider. Aaron said Ryan was sliding down the hill and hit his bar on a tree and his leg caught the worst of it.

I second Paul's comments. Observed trials is both a physical and a mental test. We definitely had our mental toughness tested. Alex, Charlie, Sadie Thompson, Tommi Avahla, and others put in many long hours building new sections and marking a few old favorites. Few venues could stand up to the amount of rain that fell before and during the weekend and as great as it is, the TTC is also vulnerable to Mother Nature's whims.

All that said, it was a great weekend and it was certainly one we will all talk about around the campfires for many years to come. Thanks guys for the hard work, and Catherine, thanks for keeping scores this year.

Scores are posted. See home page link.

I was only able to ride on Saturday but yes it was a challenge but a fun one. Great event to get you ready for the NATC nationals that's for sure.

As always, great fun and fellowship!!
