I heard something about FTA is doing peer scoring this year. Is this true?

Yes, we tried it in the fun trial and adopted it for the rest of the season as a test. So far everyone seems to be happy with it, we extended our time by 1/2 hour to be sure of adequate time to finish. Those who want to qualify for year end awards still have to "work" 2 events, usually by coming out to set up sections, but as they also get to ride it makes that less of a burden.

except the fun in the sun event will be a regular trial with observers at each section
