FUN-n-SUN 2 DAY MODERN
* * * PROMISE RANCH, Webster, FL * * * CALLING ALL TRIALS RIDERS SATURDAY FEBUARY 28, 2004 SUNDAY FEBUARY 29, 2004 FUN FOR ALL FUN FOR ALL Novice, Intermediate, Sportsman, Advanced, Expert, and Champ Fun Trials – modern classes – this is not a FTA Championship points event Youth A and B Classes on Saturday Only Saturday Signup: 9:00 AM EST Sunday Signup: 8:30 AM EST Start: 11:00 EST Start: 10:00 EST Entry Fee: AGE 16 and under $5/day - Adults $25/day Helmets and AMA Membership Required for all riders, including Youth – You can sign up at the event if necessary Everyone must sign a Release Form, including spectators! Lodging Hotels are available at Exit 314 in Bushnell. One is called Microtel (Telephone No. 352-568-2111 for $63 for AARP and AAA members, or for an even lower rate, you can stop at a Waffle House and pick up the Traveler’s Discount Guide and there is a coupon for $59; or if you prefer, there is a Best Western (Telephone No. 352-793-5010) for $57.60 a night. In both cases, we have reserved a block of 10 rooms at each location. You need to make sure you mention the Florida Trials Association to get these special rates. If you want to guarantee a reservation, you need to contact Microtel by 15 February and Best Western by 20 February 2004. From these hotels, you head East on SR-48 to SR-301 and turn South for approximately ¾ of a mile, turn left over the railroad tracks onto SR-48 again, and go East approximately 10 or so miles to SR-478 in Center Hill. Turn right on SR-478 East and go approximately 1.8 miles to the site, which will be located on your right. Camping Primitive camping is permitted at Promise Ranch, however, if you are interested in full electrical and water hookups, you can contact one of the following: Breezy Oaks RV Park 9683 CR 671 Bushnell, FL 33513 Telephone No.: (352) 569-0300 Duval's RV Park 7961 CR 647 Bushnell, FL 33513 Telephone No.: (352) 793-5179 Sumter Oaks RV Park 4602 CR 673 Bushnell, FL 33513 Telephone No.: (352) 793-1333 Fax: (352) 793-5216 Directions from Brooksville (Croom Motorcycle Park) If you prefer to stay in Brooksville and visit the Crooms Motorcycle Park (30301 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville, FL, located at the intersection of I-75 and SR-50), the directions are as follows: Coming from the North or the South on I-75, take Exit 301 (SR-50). Head East on SR-50 for approximately 20 miles until you get to 471 North. Go approximately 4 miles to 478 East (then about ¼ mile past Webster Elementary School, turn right), drive approximately 5 more miles and Promise Ranch will be on the left. From the East, take SR-50 to 471 North and then follow the directions above. It is approximately 25 minutes from Croom Motorcycle Park. Hope to see y’all there!!! RESTAURANT If you have an appetite for some great, down home country cooking, you will want to plan on visiting the HAY SEED CAFÉ. Marc Waller and his dad own the best and only restaurant in beautiful downtown Webster, FL. Open 7days a week from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. They offer Daily Specials with a great southern atmosphere. It is located on the Main Drag just east of 471. There will not be a concession at the event, so please plan your food and drinks accordingly. It is a very exciting sport to watch, and even more fun when you are a participant. This is a fun, family sport for all ages, from the beginner to the best motorcycle rider, and we accommodate all riders.
