Bikes having some electrical probs. Fan not working, pretty positive it's not the thermostat.
I see the fan takes 12 volts. Anybody know how many amps? Maybe I can test it by applying juice.

Ivan : you should be able to jumper across the thermastat switch with the bike running and if the fan motor is ok it should turn on ...
If it doesn't check for power at the switch with a test light , if you've got power check all the wiring for the fan with a ohm meter for continuity , and if thats all secure , get a thermastat switch !!! And it's not a real good procedure to add any outside power source to test a elctrical circuit on just about anything automotive or motorcycle ... they tend to sneak diodes and things where you would least expect it!!!
Have fun , Remember DC currant is just like water in a pipe ! it's just plumbing ...

Thanks Glen. I'm pretty rusty on my electrical trouble shooting. I've even got a test light but forgot to use it!
