Bou continues to amaze! No one has had any real success in the indoors on the Montesa, and Bou looks like the bike was made-to-order for him. He quickly adapted to the 4 stroke while everyone else struggled during a long transition period. He also has won both rounds of the ultra-tough and super competitive Spanish national championship as well as the opening outdoor world championship round.
Bou is young and on fire. Many have picked him as the future of trials and it appears the future has arrived. We will see a lot more from this kid....

Don't forget about USA Pat Smage finishing 3rd in the 125 class, both days.

Bou really seems to benefit from the strength of the mighty Montesa team resorces.... or has he comes into his own and was destined to find his form this year if he has stayed on the Beta? Those close to Bou say he is destined to be world champ and made that prediction years ago.
One interview shows the commitment of Montesa and Toni said it is different to practice where you have a suspension technician, along with the engine guy, trainer and team manager all attending and focused on getting the most out of man and machine.

Pat rode exceptionally well when comparing his scores against the seasoned European competition. Pat will be doing more world rounds on the 125 and riding a Sherco 2.9 in the nationals, so he will be a busy lad. His learning curve has been extremely steep and will be a threat for the national title this year.
You will see Smage and Bou at the top of the results all season.

While we are waiting for the details of the opening rounds of the US nationals (Pat Smage won both days and Garry Hoover had low Support score on Sunday), Toni Bou continued to dominate the WTC with a win in France dropping only 38 points with Adam Raga way back in second on 55 and Dougie Lampkin third with 64. That is 3 in a row for Bou and a perfect record so far this season....
