Does anyone have a satellite radio unit with "home stereo" adapter kit which could be brought to the event and loaned for providing some background music? My first plan was to fill up my ipod with tunes, but a satellite radio setup might be simpler...

John, I have an XM radio in my car. You can use that if you'd like. I do not have the "boombox" if that is what you need. I have an AC adaptor, 12 DC plug, home antenna, car antenna, remote control, cassette tape adaptor.
If you have a radio to feed the signal to, this will work.
Plan to arrive friday about 6 or 7pm.

that sounds pretty good. can you look at it and see if it has a audio line out jack, probably a 1/8" mini phone plug?

Yes, it does, that is the jack that I plug the cassette tape adaptor into.
