We still need about 15 observers for both Saturday April 26 and Sunday April 27. Sections need observers, plus a dedicated timekeeper to run the stopwatch and a puncher. If you can work a stopwatch or hole punch, you are qualified to help!
All observers get a free weekend pass that allows you work work 1 day and spectate the other.
Garry Hoover is coordinating the observer list and will match you with friends, the preferred day to work and ensure the right instruction and level of experience is in place at each section.
Please reply to this post, me or Garry if you are interested in signing up. We need more help and you will have the best seat in the house stay close to the action while observing!

I'm not qualified to observe at that level , (being a old fashoined no stop kinda guy )but I'd be willing to click a stopwatch and punch cards ... You can't get much closer than that !
Glenn ... And I get to wear my vintage fantic jersey ???!

FYI: All observers will report to the covered pavillion each day at 8 AM for section assignments and to get your Official Observers shirt. (This is where we normally do signup and awards.)
Lunch will be provided, but you may want to bring snacks.
I'll ask Hoover for final instructions and any details as the information becomes available.

Thanks again to all who have volunteered!!!

Glenn:

Glad to hear it was not you. I hope the mechanic is doing better and has a full recovery.

I just talked to Garry and we still need observers!!! Please pass the word to friends and fellow enthusiasts. If you know someone who will run a stopwatch or punch a scorecard, they are qualified. We still need lead observers with experience too!
If I can answer any questions, please let me know.
