Gentlemen and Ladies,
As the big day draws near, we are coming to the time to test everyone's commitment to the world round. We have had pretty good turn outs for the work days so far. Now we need help in the actual operation of the event. We are about to see who actually supports the world round and who simply did not want to vote against it.

I volunteered to act as environmental deputy (or some such title). This meaans that I promised to keep things tidy and presentable for our visitors. This basically means involves trash cans (into dumpsters), making sure the porta johns have paper, etc. I need 5 people each day (Sat and Sun.) to volunteer one hour of their time. This would barely be an inconvenience for you. Please leave your name here if you are willing to help out.

Thanks,
Ron Milam

I'll be at TTC Friday and Sat.
Since I'll be coming up with my son that's never been to an event (much less a world event),
can't score.
What are the start times Friday and Sat?
We might could do a 1 hr. shift Sat.?

I'm not looking for a free pass, but would
certainly like to park "inside" the main gate?
I know parking will be a problem?

Big thanks to Dwight Deyampert, Darrell Davis, Mickey Meade & son, Tony Powers, Wendy Roberts, Hannah Bechard,Vaughn, and everyone else who chipped in to keep the place clean over the weekend. I also have to say that as a whole, the folks in attendance were a great bunch. Very little litter was thrown down, and even the porta johns stayed presentable. You certainly do not normally get that kind of courtesy from a crowd.
