Looks like some sections were changed for the Sunday round? Glad I was there for Sat.

Hey Mickey, I can only speak for section 15. It was modified Sat and Sunday. There seems to be a very fine line between too easy and too hard, but the finest line lies in the ability for the majority to complete the section in the 90 seconds alloted. I ran the chute and the clock both days on 15 and I can tell you that the ajustments made both days were brilliant. Many riders timed out, and quite a few made the exit w/a second or two left on the clock. It might have appeared to take away some of the "good stuff" that makes spectating so much fun, but it truely allowed the riders a fair chance to complete the section w/out timing out. Sunday AM showed us Sat.'s lines as imposssible, so Dan and Tony adjusted them by the seat of the pants and made it correct for the riders. I too would have preffered there be no rain and the sections left alone, but that would have made for a poor trial for the riders. Clint

Great job Dan and all.
I watched to top riders in section 15 on 2nd loop. Run section to watch! Raga was only one to clean, I think? I was cheering for Bou, and all! Mickey Meade Macon,Ga. TY-175 '67 Triumph T20M |
